Hope Scholarship

****SENIORS CAN CHECK THEIR PRELIMINARY HOPE GPA ON THE GAFUTURES WEBSITE****

The HOPE Scholarship is available to any student that meets the state's residency requirements,
has maintained a 3.0 core grade point average, and has been accepted by an approved
postsecondary institution.

Students and parents click GPA CAL.pdf to access a HOPE GPA calculation worksheet.

Students and parents can monitor their HOPE overall core grade point average on their GAFutures
account each semester.  The student's Social Security Number must be on file with the school the student is
attending.

If you do not wish to provide a Social Security Number, or if you do not have one, your student's Counselor
has access to their HOPE GPA.

VERY IMPORTANT:  In order to be eligible for the HOPE Scholarship, students must have a Social Security
Number officially reported through the student's school records.
